Immobilizer

Vehicle Immobilizer System allows user to lock or unlock the Engine Management System using CAN cryptography code communication. Thus enabling high efficient theft protection.

FEATURES:

  • Flexible packaging solution for column or dash-mount applications
  • Passive antenna as stand-alone or integrated.

Allows personalized identification settings by individual driver for features such as memory seats, mirrors and keyless vehicle.

Passive Entry -Passive Start (PEPS) Technology

This technology allows the driver to keep the key-fob in their pocket when unlocking, locking (Passive Entry) and starting the vehicle (Passive Start). The key is identified via several antennas. The vehicle is automatically unlocked when a button or sensor is pressed.

This system that allows the “Hands-Free” uses of the key is based on two ways wireless communication (challenge/response) based on the immobilizer cryptography and allows to keep Passive Start back-up for low-battery condition (Limp home mode).

The system’s major components are:

  • Identifier electronic key
  • Door handle with switch or proximity sensor
  • Electrical Control Unit
  • Electromechanical steering column or gearbox lock

Remote Keyless Entry

This technology allows the driver to keep the key-fob in their pocket when unlocking, locking (Passive Entry) and starting the vehicle (Passive Start). The key is identified via several antennas. The vehicle is automatically unlocked when a button or sensor on the door handle is pressed. This “Hands-Free” system is based on two way wireless communication (challenge/response) utilizing  the immobilizer cryptography; and will also allow for Passive Start back-up  in the event of low-battery condition (limp home mode).

The system’s major components are:

  • Identifier electronic key
  • Door handle with switch or proximity sensor
  • Electrical Control Unit
  • Electromechanical steering column or gearbox lock
